From a young age traveling shaped the way I conceptualize place and home and the way people can belong to one place or another. Images from my life that stand out or encompass places I have been stay with me for a long time. I explore images of memories, stories, scenes I have encountered and kept in my life for a time. Each image is a part of me and my journey. A home is constructed, it doesn't just exist on its own and the images I collect, the memories I build bring me to my family home in michigan and back out again into the world where I forge my own home.
